12/3/2011

We have heard word from one of our biggest sponsors, Triple R Performace Engines, and they are on board again for the 2012 racing season. Also, James will be racing full time at Quincy Raceways in 2012. You can expect to also see the 25L machine at tracks such as Shepps Speedway in Alexander, IL and more to come.

11/15/2011

We have finished the 2011 racing season. We finished it off with Shiverfest at Lee County Speedway. James was leading the race when he was taken out by another racer behind him that caused enough damage to take James out of the race. We are not sure exactly what the plans are for 2012, but you can guarantee that we will be back on the track. Keep checking the website for updates throughout the off season.

9/23/2011

We had plans to race at Lee County Speedway last Friday but were unaware that they were not racing the modified division. The next and final race of the 2011 racing season will be October 15th at Lee County Speedway for the annual shiverfest race. Thanks to all of our sponsors this year for sticking with us even though we have encountered a pretty tough year with a lot of set backs. You can expect to see the 25L racecar on the track in 2012.

9/12/2011

We made a trip back to Spoonriver Speedway for the first time in awhile. They had a $1,000 to win mod special. Our car struggled in the heat race and we settled for a 7th place finish. We drove a b-main starting 10th and had to make it into the top four to make the show. Within the first five laps James made it all the way to the 2nd position but going into turns one and two the leader got loose with James directly behind him and received a little nudge from James causing him to spin. The track made the decision to send James to the back and give the leader his position back. This took James out of the race and he didn't make the show.

It has been awhile since I've been able to update the website because I'm back at school for the fall. The past couple weeks of racing have been what you could call "test session". We hit a moment where the car wasn't working very well for us so it has been trial and error to get it back on track. This weekend (Saturday) we will be at Spoonriver Speedway in Canton, IL for the modified show going on.

7/29/2011

We have been dealing with some complications recently with the race car. We missed racing last weekend due to issues with the transmission and the weekend before that we wound up with a DNF at Quincy Raceways because of mechanical issues with the engine. We have plans to race at Scotland County Speedway this weekend and if that all goes well we will race at Quincy Raceways on Sunday which is also James's birthday.

7/11/2011

We came off of a wreck the following weekend and were able to pull off a sixth place finish at Quincy Raceways last night.

6/20/2011

Rain plegued the weekend once again. All racing in the area was cancelled for Saturday night, and racing at Quincy Raceways was cancelled for Sunday so we made our first trip to 24 Raceways in Moberly MO. We ran 10th in the feature but there were a few issue that came with running at a track for the first time. We had the wrong gear in the car which hinder the engine from running at optimal power.

6/13/2011

We had a pretty good weekend of racing. On Saturday night we had plans to race at Scotland County Speedway in Memphis MO but they had recieved too much rain to get the show in. Our back up plan from there was to go to Spring Creek Speedway in Macomb IL. We were able to pull off our first win of the season. On Sunday we made our first trip to Shepps Speedway in Alexander IL for the $1,500 to win modified special. Among the star studded field James was able to start from 12th and work his way to 10th.

5/16/2011

This past weekend was plagued with rain. We had big plans to race in the USMTS shows at Spoonriver Speedway and Quincy Raceways but rain ruined those nights. We were however able to race at Lee County Speedway on Friday, but we didnt have much luck due to a poor setup on the race car in the feature. We have everything right and ready to go for this weekend and plan on bringing home a trophey.

5/1/2011

Friday night we took the trip up to Lee County Speedway for their opening night. We started 13th and finished 8th. On Saturday we went to Scotland County Speedway in Memphis MO where we proceeded to have poor luck drawing for starting positions. James was running strong in third in the heat race after starting fifth but then was spun out by another driver causing James to have to restart at the back. He was able to work his way back up to fifth but was out of the redraw causing him to start 14th in the feature. He drove up to ninth and ran out of laps to make anymore progress. We had also hoped to make it to Quincy Raceways tonight, but rain forced the track to cancel.

4/24/2011

Once again rain plagued the entire weekend. Friday night at Lee County Speedway races got cancelled due to rain. On Saturday Scotland County Speedway cancelled due to rain, so our back up plan was Spring Creek Speedway in Macomb IL. We had pretty poor luck and Spring Creek Speedway, in hot lap the car ran great but in the heat race engine problems caused James to pull off the track. The races were called off before the feature could be completed. On Sunday, races were again cancelled due to rain.

4/17/2011

All of the racing that we had scheduled for this weekend was ruined due to weather. Too much rain all around the tri states caused every track we planned on going to, to get cancelled. We'll see you next weekend.

4/11/2011

It was kind of a rough night last night in the modified feature at Quincy Raceways. There were many cautions and cars that got tore up. We encountered some damage ourselves, nothing serious and we were able to finish the night. James started ninth and was able to by pass a few wrecks and work his way up to sixth. We are still working on finding the right setup for this new chassis that we have for the 2011 season. In the heat race James started third and finished third.

4/4/2011

We made it to the season opener at Quincy Raceways last night with high hopes. However, we didn't perform as well as we had hoped. We missed the setup but were able to pull away with a top ten finish.

4/2/2011

We made our first test laps on the new chassis Wed, Thurs, and Fri. We were very satified with the improvements made and are ready for opening night at Quincy Raceways tomorrow. Our outlook for the race is very good.
